This plant is known to thrive in poor, sandy soil. Blanket flowers offer non-stop blooms, thrive in full sun and poor soil conditions (must be well-drained), are drought-tolerant once established, salt-tolerant, and attract butterflies, bees, and wild birds when the seed head dries out.
